Personal: Meditation with timers

Last Week i started using meditation timers on my mp3 player at zazen. and i must say it kind of improves my practice. By setting a goal for the duration of the meditation time its more likely that i'm sitting the whole period i wanted to. in the first week i jumped between 30 and 40 minutes per day. hope i can continue at this pace. on days where i'm not home before midnight i've got some doubts...
